Speaking on the talk, Corrienne said: “It’s really good to speak to senior leaders in colleges to really understand how policy change and implantation is impacting on the learner experience and to see what the unintended consequences are.

“I’ve had the opportunity to share some of the things that I’ve learnt throughout my career, it would be nice if some of that resonated and they could see how they can put it into practice.”

Cheri Ashby, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO), Activate Learning said: “It was fantastic to welcome Corrienne to our Education Leadership Development Day today.

“We were privileged that she shared her leadership journey with us. Secondly, as current President of the Association of Colleges she updated us on the current issues and debates within the sector. She is a remarkable role model to everyone working in further education.”
