Applying to Activate Learning

To help guide you through your journey to studying a Further Education course with us, we’ve broken the process down into four clear stages. Each stage provides the information, support and key actions you’ll need to move confidently to the next step.

1. How to Apply:

You are at this stage if you have not yet applied and are beginning your research.

This section will guide you through choosing the right course, checking entry requirements, and completing your application. You’ll find everything you need to submit your application with confidence.

2. Applied: What next?

You are at this stage if you have submitted your application and are waiting to hear from us.

Here, we explain what happens between submitting your application and receiving a conditional offer. This may include events, assessments, or additional information requests, as well as how and when we will contact you.

3. Applied: Prepare to enrol

You are at this stage if your application has been submitted and the new academic term is approaching.

This section helps you prepare for enrolment. Enrolment is required to formally secure your place on the course. You’ll find guidance on the steps you need to complete and any documents or information you should have ready.

4. Enrolled: Prepare to start

You are at this stage if you have completed your enrolment.

Now it’s time to prepare for starting college. Here you’ll find key information about induction, timetables, equipment, support services, and what to expect in your first few weeks.
