We hope that you’ve had a nice break and are looking forward to starting back at college.
Dear student,
I hope you are well and looking forward to returning to campus for what promises to be a busy and exciting term. Term begins on Tuesday 14 April 2026, and we are excited to welcome you back.
As we approach the final part of the academic year and your upcoming assessments, I want to take a moment to remind you about the importance of attendance. Quite simply, the more you attend, the better your chances of success will be.
Being present in your lessons gives you the best opportunity to understand key topics, complete your coursework to a high standard and succeed in your exams.
The importance of good attendance
If your attendance hasn’t been where you would like it to be so far, there is still time to improve. Every lesson counts and making a positive change now can have a real impact on your final results and future opportunities.
Our campuses are welcoming, safe and supportive environments, and we are here to help you succeed. Attending regularly, arriving on time and being ready to learn will ensure you don’t miss vital information and can stay on track with your studies.
If there is anything affecting your attendance, please don’t hesitate to speak to your tutor, teacher or a member of the Safeguarding team. We are here to support you and help you overcome any challenges.
We are committed to helping you enjoy your time at college and achieve your goals, and your attendance plays a key part in that success.
Best wishes,
Paul Newman
Chief Learning Officer (Curriculum)
