The VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies covers:

What you'll learn
Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety requirements, anatomy, physiology, and pathology and electrical science, alongside skin analysis and safe practice treatment protocols for facial skin care. This includes in-depth consultation and aftercare.
How you'll learn and be assessed
You will learn through a hybrid model of:
- 30% self-study
- 20% online classes
- 50% in-person practical training in our well-equipped salons
You will be required to build a portfolio of treatment case studies, including facial treatments, and client consultations.
Other assessment methods include exams, assignments, and a practical examination in facial therapies.
Progression
On successful completion of this course, you might consider:
VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Award in Skin Peeling, Skin needling, Ultrasound, HIFU, Scalp Micro pigmentation, and Dermaplaning.
Entry requirements
This qualification is for applicants aged 19+ years of age.
There are no prerequisites besides an excellent level of English. You must be able to read and write in English.
The primary purpose of this qualification is to prepare learners for additional study at level 4+ in the beauty aesthetic industry. Achievement of this qualification will enable learners to further develop their knowledge and skills by completing additional specialist qualifications at Level 4 and 5.
Additional costs:
You will be required to purchase a uniform and a kit to complete these treatments. Course kits range from £30-£150.00
Uniform costs can be expected to be around £50.00
