This course is for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities.
It aims to develop your personal independence and life skills, and provides you with opportunities to develop:

What you'll learn
On the Preparation for Supported Internships programme, in our learning companies and classroom learning you will develop:
- English and maths in the workplace
- Customer service skills
- Teamwork and problem solving
- Independence for work
- Travel training
- Attribute development
- Independent living skills
How you'll learn and be assessed
Learning is through practical activity including teamwork group work projects and external visits into the local community.
Assessment is through the development of a portfolio of evidence to meet accrediting body requirements.
Entry requirements
The only entry requirement is that you have a successful interview with a member of the course team in order to ensure that we can fully meet your needs
We are looking for young people with an enthusiasm to learn and a desire to make progress. We want applicants to actively take part in keep warm activities set by teachers before starting in September
